The company is updating its line of catalytic cracking catalysts with the assistance of experts from the Institute for Problems of Hydrocarbon Processing at the Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences. The task of creating catalysts for hydro-processes falls to the Kazakhstan Institute of Catalysis. Kazakhstani scientists have already created middle distillate hydrotreating catalysts, which enables them to produce a sulfur-free product that satisfies all Euro-5 specifications. In order to meet the market’s demand for premium petroleum products, the corporation has recently concentrated its refining activities.

Refinery improvements have helped Enerplus, LLP expand its product line, become more competitive, and enhance the quality of its products over time. Rebuilding this oil refinery is a major turning point in Kazakhstani history. In accordance with TR TS 013/2009 Technical Regulations, environmental class K5 motor fuels were produced at 100% rate for the domestic market in Kazakhstan during the program’s establishment. Several of the Company’s refineries have been producing motor gasoline with improved operational and environmental attributes since 2020, including AI-95-K5 Euro-6 and AI-100-K5.

The refinery also produces liquid paraffin, roofing and insulating materials, and aromatics in addition to other petroleum products. The refinery produces bitumen, jet fuel, roofing materials, and diesel fuel, among other products that satisfy international quality standards. Enerplus, LLP expands its industrial facilities annually. The refinery is creating a tiered process flow diagram innovation approach to lower operational expenses, improve petroleum product quality, improve industrial and environmental safety, and reduce costs overall.

Distillation
The crude oil is heated to separate it into various fractions, each with specific properties and uses. This separation is the first step in the refining process.
Conversion:
Some fractions, such as heavy oils, are further processed through conversion methods like cracking and reforming to create more valuable products like gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel.
Quality Control:
Rigorous testing and quality control measures are employed at every stage to ensure that the final products meet industry standards and regulations.
Treating and Blending
The refined fractions undergo treatment to remove impurities, and then they are skillfully blended to achieve the desired product specifications and quality.
